RV Camping
Camping is a tradition at Iowa Speedway and the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend will offer a complete camping experience for fans.
All RV camping spaces are 25' x 50'.
Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend Camping
RV and travel trailer camping during the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend is available in the Turn 3 Terrace Lot and the General Camping Lot (outside of Turns 1 & 2).
Electric Services
Electric service passes are available in the Turn 3 Terrace Lot.
Arrival / Exit
Guests with 4-day camping passes can begin check-in at noon on Thursday, July 11. Guests will need to have departed their camping space by noon on Monday, July 15.
Wristband Policies - Turn 3 Terrace Lot
Camping wristbands are required for access into the Turn 3 Terrace Lot during the Hy-Vee INDYCAR race weekend July 11-14. RV and travel trailer camping passes include six wristbands and they must be worn at all times. Up to four additional wristbands are available for purchase through the Ticket Office.

Tent camping during the Hy-Vee INDYCAR Race Weekend is available in the General Camping Lot (outside of Turns 1 & 2) .

Camping Policies
Camping Policies/Rules for RV Hill and General Camping Lot: THE FOLLOWING CAMPING POLICIES, IN ADDITION TO ANY POLICIES OR REGULATIONS INCLUDED IN THE 2025 GENERAL CAMPING INFO AND RULES AND/OR 2025 RV HILL CAMPER INFO AND RULES GUIDES, HAVE BEEN ADOPTED FOR CAMPING AREAS OUTSIDE THE GATES TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE TO ALL GUESTS. Use of the campsite areas is at YOUR OWN RISK and it is your responsibility to insure for all risk of loss as you deem necessary. Camping guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused while using the campsite. No liability is assumed by Iowa Event Management (“IEM”) (or its affiliates) for loss or damage by fire, theft, bodily injury, communicable disease, or otherwise to you, your guests, your personal property, your belongings, personal items, or your vehicle while using the campsite including if caused by the negligence of released parties. Any degree of violation of these policies may result in ejection from the property. ● Camping guests must check in and out at the designated time listed on their camping pass. ● Camping guests must adhere to INDYCAR Race Weekend at Iowa Code of Conduct and all federal, state, and local laws. ● Camping vehicles and all camping guests’ possessions are required to stay within their assigned campsite. ● Camping vehicles must have the appropriate pass for the area on display. ● Camping vehicles must be self-contained registered campers, camper trailers and recreation vehicles. ● Camping passes do not include grandstand tickets. ● Camping passes include one hanging tag for Camper/RV and one sticker for a tow/companion vehicle. ● Camping guests may use one pool, not to exceed 54” in diameter (i.e. kiddie pool), per campsite. ● IEM and Iowa Speedway reserve the right to make adjustments to campsites at their discretion. ● Be aware of the risks and symptoms of carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. CO poisoning can occur when using portable or Camper/RV generators, vehicles, campfires, grills, stoves, portable heaters, and other combustible equipment. Ensure proper use of CO sources and use a properly functioning CO detector. ● Flags are permitted but must not contain offensive imagery or verbiage. First row camping guests must lower flags thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of any race. ● RV Hill: ○ Each RV Hill camping spot includes ten (10) wristbands. Wristbands must be worn for admittance into designated areas. Designated areas include RV Hill camping and the vendor/display area behind grandstands.
FAQs
Yes, generators are allowed in general camping. Generator use is not regulated, but campers need to be respectful of their neighbors.
Hy-Vee will have two pop-up Mini Markets located near the entry gates for both RV Hill and the general camping area at Iowa Speedway. The pop-up stores will operate throughout race weekend and will sell convenience store items for guests in the RV and general campgrounds. NOTE: Iowa Speedway will operate as a cashless venue for this event. All food/beverage service will be cashless.
